What to Expect from a Wrap Job with Us
At AMP Wrapz we pride ourselves on transparency, honesty, integrity and affordable pricing! When you allow us the opportunity to customize your car we will take care of it and treat it as if it was our own and as car guys we know how much your car means to you.
When we begin to wrap your vehicle we will first be detailing the exterior, minus the wheels, which includes
Spray down to get visible debris off.
1st application of soap which is washed off.
2nd application of soap that is then scrubbed to get the stubborn debris off the car.
Clay baring to remove debris that is not visible to the naked eye that would prevent the vinyl from sticking.
Drying the vehicle
Once that is all completed we will begin the disassembly of strictly necessary parts of the car including but not limited to the headlights/tail lights, badging, mirrors/mirror caps, door handles, body kits, spoilers, etc. All of which will be reinstalled back to OEM specification after the wrap is applied and cured.
We will then begin to apply the vinyl which is done in sections, panel by panel, until no original colour is visible to the eye. Masking tape is applied around area that require cutting to protect the paint from unnecessary scratches.
Your vehicle is now finished and ready for pick up! We hope you love it as much as we do!

The installer applies a large sheet of high-quality cast vinyl over the car’s surfaces. Owners can customize their car wraps for a new look or a protective cover. You can opt for either a full or partial vinyl wrap. The combination of a high-quality cast vinyl and professional installation ensures the longevity of the wrap.

Caring for your newly wrapped car is simple!
Washing the vehicle by hand, often, whether that be weekly, bi-weekly or monthly and avoiding car washes is half the battle.
Promptly cleaning off environmental stains or gasoline drips as soon as possible.
You’ll also want to avoid waxes and harsh cleaning agents that can cause damage to preserve the life of the wrap.
Keeping your newly wrapped car out of direct sunlight for extended periods of time will also help to preserve the life of the wrap.
Being able to keep your vehicle in an enclosed space away from elements is beneficial but not a necessity.

A properly installed wrap has a very low chance of causing damage to your vehicle if the paint retains its OEM integrity and quality. Vehicles with damaged or thin paint may experience difficulties due to the paint flaking off from the adhesive. If your paint is damaged or very worn we do not recommend you getting your vehicle wrapped.

A vinyl wrapped vehicle that has had the proper installation and aftercare can be expected to last anywhere between 4-7 years!

Yes it can to an extent. Vinyl is a very thin layer of PVC which means it would be able to protect your paint from minor stone chips, minor scratches, sun damage and the likes. If you’re looking for more protection, then PPF (Paint Protection Film) would be better suited for you.

Car wrapping is a meticulous process. We begin with a pre-installation process, including a full exterior detail involving clay barring to remove any grim from daily driving, invisible to the naked eye that will prevent the wrap from adhering properly. Deep cleaning into the car’s crevices ensures proper adhesion of the vinyl. Key areas of the car are disassembled to prevent premature vinyl failure, such as removing the headlights, taillights, door handles, mirrors, mirror caps, bumpers, and miscellaneous plastic trim – all of which will be reinstalled to OEM specifications. Once all that is done, we start to install the coloured vinyl of your choice with lots of patience and an eye for detail one panel of the car at a time.
